What are the Coryma Smile Membership Plans?
These are in-house savings plans designed specifically for our patients who do not have traditional dental insurance. For a flat monthly subscription fee, you gain access to comprehensive preventive care and significant savings on major treatments, without the headaches of traditional insurance companies.
Is this a dental insurance policy?
No. This is not insurance. It is a direct membership agreement between you and our dental office. Because there is no middleman insurance company, there are no claims to file, no hidden deductibles, and no pre-approvals required to get the care you need.
How long am I committed to the plan?
Both plans require a minimum commitment of 12 months. Your plan automatically renews month-to-month after your first year unless you request to cancel it in writing.
Can I use this alongside my existing dental insurance?
No. These membership plans are exclusive programs for patients without dental insurance. They cannot be combined with third-party dental insurance policies, government dental plans – No Coordination of Benefits -.
Plan Benefits & The 6-Month Waiting Period
What is the difference between the "Smile Preventive" and "Smile Advantage" plans?
- Smile Preventive Plan ($45/mo): Ideal if you have a healthy mouth and only need regular cleanings, exams, and routine X-rays. It provides up to $1,100 per year in strictly preventive services.
- Smile Advantage Plan ($65/mo): Ideal if you expect to need dental work beyond just cleanings. It boosts your annual protection up to $1,500 and covers 50% of basic & major treatments like fillings, root canals, crowns, and extractions.
Why is there a 6-month waiting period on the Smile Advantage Plan?
To keep our membership fees affordable for everyone, the 50% discount on major treatments requires a 6-month waiting period. This prevents individuals from signing up for a single month, receiving thousands of dollars in major dental work, and immediately cancelling. There is never a waiting period for preventive care (cleanings and exams)—you can use those on day one!
What if I need a filling or a crown immediately and cannot wait 6 months?
You can still get your treatment done today! Under our Immediate Treatment Clause, you simply pay 100% of the standard treatment cost upfront. Once you successfully reach your 6-month membership anniversary, our office will credit or reimburse you for the 50% portion covered by your Smile Advantage Plan.
Payments & Accounts
How am I billed for the membership?
Payments are fully automated and hassle-free. Your monthly fee ($45 or $65 for adults) is safely processed on a recurring basis using our secure Moneris credit card vault system.
What happens if my credit card is declined?
If a monthly payment fails, we will attempt to re-process it within 5 business days. A $25.00 declined payment fee will apply. If an account is past due for more than 30 days, membership benefits are temporarily paused until the balance is paid.
Does my unused yearly protection balance roll over to the next year?
No. Your annual benefit limit ($1,100 for Preventive, or $1,500 for Advantage) resets completely on your enrollment anniversary date each year. Unused balances do not roll over, so we encourage you to schedule your regular visits to maximize your benefits!
